Patricia Green is a visual artist and Art Therapist in training. Born in Donegal, Ireland she was raised and educated in Kuwait and England.
She completed her Foundation in Art and Design specialising in illustration at the Berkshire College of Art and Design and went on to study Interior Design and Decoration at Chelsea College of Art. Years later she completed a Fashion Business degree at London College of Fashion, University of Arts London.
To support herself and fund her studies Patricia worked full-time as a Senior Executive Assistant for large global organisations, travelling the world, gaining useful business qualifications along the way.
Most recently Patricia has worked with special needs children, children with mild to severe Autism, children in summer camps, the elderly in residential domiciliary care, people suffering with anxiety and depression and those suffering with grief and loss.
Patricia is also a former Yoga Teacher and Florist.
She currently lives in Barbados with her partner and two working cocker spaniels George and Mildred.
Patricia works intuitively and swiftly – art is very much about the process for her. She uses mixed media, alcohol inks, acrylics, oil pastels, soft pastels, watercolour, gold-leaf, collage and digital art to create colourful inspiring art.
Her mission is to show people in her community how creativity can help them heal, create joy and peace and enable them to manifest their desires.
